I don't see anything wrong with somebody posting some scripts. Not all tools fit all tasks.
Of course, if need to do heavy maintenance like changing the home directory path for 1000 users, or 
creating 500 new users, then DA is not the tool for the job.

Without a release in over a year and a half, hell it's a wonder anybody even looks at the list at all!

BTW, I am trying to make a release in the next hours which fixes the LDAPv3 connection failure.
