Hi Dieter,
  Yes, I am aware of these problems. I have recently started to do some work for this project, 
which had been idle for 1.5 years.

  I realize that there are some patches stacked up, waiting to get published. I saw the LDAPv3 
support as the most critical and most urgent fix, so I handled that first. That was the only change 
inside of 1.6.0.

  I will do a thorough review of the schema, as there are some other schema related problems as well.

  Another version is coming soon.
