failure to create account

Hi

We are running RH core1

have been using Directory Admin for some time however after recent 
changes we are unable to create new accounts

have installed d_a 1.6.0 and  am unable to create accounts
it was working under sambav2 and d_admin 1.4
server rinning RH core1, samba-3.0.7-2.FC1
