Samba2 and Samba3 have significantly different LDAP schemas, so what 
worked on Samba2 isn't going to work on Samba3.

In the sourceforge patches section, there is a patch for Samba3 support 
which applies cleanly to DA v1.6.0. That may solve your problem.
