Because it's not really like a wiki, from what I've seen. But it might 
still be OK...

Just the other day, I thought about writing an LDAP auth for mambo. The 
current mysql based auth system sucks for large userbases. Even the 
mamboportal.com could not handle authentications well when there were 
100k users in the system... They recently wiped the entire user table 
and started from scratch, because of this!
