option to use SQLite instead of CDB?  Possibly with some kind of

So my wishlist item is: integrate SQLite into tinydns so I can
dynamicallly update bits by mounting the SQLite file, or one of
several SQLite files, in a different process, and insert, update, and
delete using existing tools.

For a fall-back weaker version of this list, I would want to be able
to operate a dynamic DNS without touching more than one distributed
file before recompiling tinydns; it is possible that we're they're now
and I just haven't actually looked. Pdns did it, of course. So a
"Hacking Zinqdns" document might be enough.

And I know that recompiling a big data file into cdb format is quick
and easy and works well, so don't tell me that again.  Unless, of
course, you must.
