So far, I've only addressed the SIGPIPE issue:

I'm thinking Matthew Dempsky's SERVFAIL fix falls into the same category:

It's been about a year since that was posted to the list.  Has anybody
that has applied that change noticed any problems?

Any other similar fixes that should be applied?
