Re: TCP connections to DJBDNS

AXFRdns just does AXFR transfers.  AXFR is not the only thing that TCP
is used for in DNS.  TCP can also be used for all queries, 
including ordinary lookups.  So if the authority server doesn't listen 
on TCP/53, it doesn't support TCP DNS. 

Also, (again, I don't use AXFRdns), doesn't that program just transfer a
zone from a master to a tinydns slave using AXFR?  AXFRdns doesn't
listen on TCP/53 to provide copies of a tinydns zone in AXFR format,
does it?

Digression: For some reason that I can't explain, there is a
misconception that TCP is only used for AXFR. I can't find any reason or
cause for this misconception. Perhaps those people to have this
misconception could explain how they came by it.
