deny child zone transfer

Hello list,

axfrdns behaviour is to serve every record for authorized zones 
specified in the $AXFR environment variable. That will include child zones.

I was wondering if there would be any way to prevent this behaviour, 
either through configuration or existing patch. I would like to only 
allow the specified zones, no more, no less.
