Its not a configuration error. A name server should not have any problems resolving either domain. What I find strange is that the www.facebook.com A record is set for 30 seconds. Most of their DNS records are set at very low ttl. As a result they must get a lot of DNS traffic. Maybe the problem is congestion at their end? regards joe baptista
