I'm light already, thanks.  No worries Mate.  Just why though, are you
of the opinion that any piece of software should play nice with 'real
distros' ( whatever they may be  ), most of which, are full of more
quirks and dependency issues than you can shake a stick at?  Why
shouldn't they do the playing nice?

People who are innovators often see things differently, do things
differently, and as a result are misunderstood, called crackpots,
insulted and pilloried.   History is rife with examples.
I'm in no way attempting to elevate Dan Berstein to God status, just
pointing out that by your
comments you seem to be unable to see or think outside the rectamgular
box in which you find yourself.

And?  You want everything handed to you on a plate?  Is there a reason
why you can't currently install, and run any of Dan's software as it
stands, no matter what the distro?
Or is it that you just don't like getting your hands dirty, and wish
all was done for you?

Somehow I don't think you've been paying much attention.  All those
elements, plus a whole
raft more are already available to implement, including RPMs, .DEBs,
and other ports of netqmail-1.06.  See,
