I'm with FreeBSD over the last 10 years; as server and as deskop system.
My SPAMCONTROL enhancement for qmail is available as BSD port, maintained
by Renato Botelo.

You can see from my mail header: I'm still using it (with mulberry).

Coming back to the origin of the thread:

* I consider a lot of software currently used for Unix as garbage.
Just one sample: To include OpenSSL into qmail/SPAMCONTROL for qmail-remote
is a mess. Description of APIs ? RFCs with TLS state diagrams ? You wish.

* Considering the age of Qmail (and djbdns) is has a great design and
coding.

* My problem with Andree: Sitting in a glass-house and throwing the stone.

* Certainly, he is not responsible for most of the FreeBSD bugs (there are
plenty, in particular in 8.x) and by the same token requiring Softupdates
for qmail's I/O. This is simply to ridiculous.

* Apart from that I stay with FreeBSD, though it hurts in a daily life.
