Yep, we need to keep our DNS data in a DB for use within our intranet,
billing, management, etc. So everything needs converted to plain text
record fields for inserting into the DB.

Previously pre VegaDNS) none of this was a problem. It is simplistic,
but I have been able to modify it easily to fit our needs for that reason.
