Re: Reducing the 2560 negative cache default

So far I have gathered:
1) Yes a Z record is required to specify negative cache TTL (min)
2) This Z record should appear prior to my existing . (SOA) record

Questions remaining:
1) are there side effects of adding this Z record I should be aware of?
2) how do the rest of the Z record fields map to . Record fields ? (eg can I
just leave mname and rname and the rest that don't map null if FQDN is the
primary key field in this case?
