What tool do you use to test? 'dig +trace' would certainly be more
helpful, followed by some 'dig @x.y.z.t' where x.y.z.t is the IP
address of the name server to test.

Also, the log file of BIND is the *first* thing to look.

I do not really understand what "format" you talk about. You do not
use a text file, I presume, but SQL INSERT requests?
