You might need to alter your query to do this for you, or patch DLZ to
provide the extra functionality.
I have the same issue with NS/MX records not responding with the
corresponding A records.
For the moment, I have just had to live with it.

Has anyone had any success enabling the additional records section with
SRV lookups under Bind DLZ, specifically the A records you get along
with the SRV entries with normal Bind lookups?

I can get the SRV records to work fine with Bind DLZ + MySQL or Berkeley
BDB, but they never include A records in the response. 

Is there some additional flag or option to set or is this still TBD?
