Hello List,

I'm unable to get named to return quires from mysql.

Could someone help me figure if the dlz-mysql driver is actually loaded?
I'm not very familiar with RHEL.

To get a more recent version I did:
rpm -i http://people.redhat.com/atkac/bind/bind-9.6.0-2.P1.fc11.src.rpm
rpmbuild -bb /usr/src/redhat/SPECS/bind.spec
rpm -ivh /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/x86_64/bind-libs-9.6.0-2.P1.x86_64.rpm
rpm -ivh /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/x86_64/bind-9.6.0-2.P1.x86_64.rpm
rpm -ivh /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/x86_64/bind-utils-9.6.0-2.P1.x86_64.rpm
rpm -ivh /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/x86_64/bind-devel-9.6.0-2.P1.x86_64.rpm

I did not build bind-sdb.

I can confirm that named is reading my dlz_mysql.conf file and the dlz
section.
I beleive this because if I change the name of the dlz section to dlzx
named fails to start with unknown option 'dlzx'.
However if I change db connection parameters to parameters that would
fail I see nothing in /var/log/message.

I have read on the dlz site that dlz is tested on RedHat so I hope I
can find some help.

Below is some basic log in. I'm not sure what else to post so I'll
just include this for now.

Thanks,
Bradley Giesbrecht
