Hello again friends, I guess that my problem has to be covered in the DLZ´s solution, and

only my lack of knowledge is the reason for I have not been reached the solution.

I just need to know if subdomain delegation can be done with DLZ.

If this is possible, and somebody has it running, I appreciate very much if you share your

queries and schema for learn how to make this important point in DNS's administration.

Otherwise, if somebody like can, I ask that you take a look at this post I made and that is

still unanswered:

I have the following definition for dns_records:

dns_zone   |text    |

host       |text    |

ttl        |integer |

dns_type   |text    |

mx_priority|integer |

data       |text    |

And here you can see some data:

dns_zone    |host       |ttl   |dns_type |mx_priority |data         |

example.com |@          |604800|soa      |null        |tip-server reynerhl.gmail.com.

20090408 3000 900 108864000 432000|

example.com |@          |604800|ns       |null        |tip-server   |

example.com |tip-server |604800|a        |null        |10.7.20.3    |

Here you can see my queries, they are very simple:

dlz "postgres zone" {

database "postgres 2

{host=/var/run/postgresql dbname=dlz user=rey }

{select dns_zone from dns_records where dns_zone= '%zone%' limit 1}

{

SELECT ttl, dns_type, mx_priority, data

FROM dns_records WHERE dns_zone = '%zone%' AND host='%record%';

}";

};

If I have the subdomain us.example.com working in the machine with ip address 10.7.20.2,

What records should I make to the parent (example.com in 10.7.20.3) to ensure the

delegation?

Thanks for your time.

PD: please, forgive my lousy language church.
