All right.  So the two responses I have are:

I tried adding/updating the records as directed by Michael K., but
nothing changed.

Todd, when you say it doesn't work, do you mean there isn't a way to
make it work or that it doesn't work like it should, but there may be
workarounds?

This came up a while back.  Basically delegation doesn't work within a
sub zone due to the way that bind does its glue.  If it delegates to
outside of the domain, no problem, but within the same domain,
problem.
