Posadis 0.50.9 released!

Like I mentioned in my post to Posadis-announce last week, I would 
release a new Posadis containing the fix for the security vulnerability 
found in Posadis 0.50.8, that has been available from 
www.posadis.org/security <http://www.posadis.org/security> for some time 
now. Well, it's done: Posadis 0.50.9 has now been officially released. 
Apart from the security fix, Posadis 0.50.9 contains some other very 
minor changes, including the merge of the FreeBSD build fix for 0.50.8. 
If you already have a running Posadis with the security fix applied, 
there isn't really an urgent need to update.

Another thing I would like to bring to your attention is the development 
of the new 0.60.x series of Posadis. Current plans are that the 0.50.x 
branch will only have bug fixes applied, no big new features such as 
caching. These will go into the 0.60.x series, the development of which 
is going quite smoothly. Its progress, and even an early testing 
version, can be fetched from www.posadis.org/pos6/ 
<http://www.posadis.org/pos6/>. Pos6, of course, is based on our Poslib 
DNS library.
