Tbh HW issues was also my first thought but since we see these crashes on two servers running on separate hardware I believe it is rather unlikely that separate hardware is failing after upgrading to dnsdist 1.9.8. Nonetheless I can not rule out hardware errors even if it is happening on two separate hardware servers. If crashes continue we will likely try a downgrade to 1.9.7 and see if the crashes go away.
