Gordon,

Thanks for your efforts and coorporation.
Good luck with yur new job(s)

Just wondering though....

Since Redhat gave up on the RedHat distro (freely available version)
it's clear that Mitel can no longer follow the path of RH releases.

You suggest that the Fedora is a good place to start. Also the 'core'
maintainers of the 'old' e-smith distro are moving on to other projects.

It sounds a bit if version 6.0Beta3 is the last 'official' donation of
Mitel to the community, and that Mitel has it's focus on something
different (e.g. VOIP and hardware etc ;-) ).

But just to get it clear for everybody....

Here we are, Mitel SME server is as is now (Version 6.0Beta3), and the
community itself has to create themselves a new 'roadpath' without the
donations we used to have before from Mitel. e.g. 'End of life' for the
unsupported version.

Is this the correct situation? (like the SME server is getting caught up
in the waves made by the recent policy changes of the major distro's,
RH-> Fedora/Enterprise, SUSE-> Novell, Ximian->Novell)

Anyway, thanks again for you all efforts, help and donations.
(never did get a clear picture of the 'core Mitel dev team ;-) )

Regards,
Hsing-Foo
