The subject may more appropriately be stated as 'Not enough patient
Indians'.

As you may be aware, I am a volunteer assisting contribs.org.  Speaking on
behalf of the contribs.org team, I'm sure most everyone here realizes we
have had less then two weeks to get organized.  I'm also sure most everyone
realizes we are all unpaid volunteers with real full time jobs and families
that take precedent.  There is and has been a flurry of 'organized' activity
happening.

A core group of volunteers has rallied together at contribs.org and is
preparing to take SME forward.  We have chosen, and IMO rightly so at this
initial stage, to perform all these activities and communications offlist.

The reason we have chosen to work offlist is simple.  We have no time to
spare and no wish to waste time.

We are focusing our efforts in an organized manner to expedite what needs to
be initially done in the fastest way possible.  This means working privately
with a small team, organized and under effective leadership.

We are laying the foundation and everyone is benefiting from our efforts
already.

When we are ready we will kick this open for more public involvement.
