Georg, Tim, Ulrich, (and everyone else!), thanks for all your work
debugging the e1000 driver.

I am about to do the 5.4.1 release, and would like to include fixes to
the e1000. Are you nearing some consensus on what to do?

I was hoping to put out a release today, but can delay 24 hours if it
will make a difference.

Many Thanks,

Marty
