I'm happy to commit, as I use cvs daily.  I'll allow some more time for 
feedback before committing.  In particular, I want to better understand 
Michael's concerns.

I'm all for pre-commit reviews, as it's done wonders for our SW 
development.  At work, we now use this and other parts of the FreeBSD 
approach, and it works great.
