undefined reference to _start (was: gPXE from GRUB)

For some reason, both GRUB and Syslinux are not able to load any zImages when loaded via memdisk, but bzImages work. (Maybe the same "high memory" problem again?) Then I tried to build a .com file and load it from FreeDOS (which is on that floppy as well), but gpxe.com does not build either... Does anyone here know how to fix the targets (bImage, com) that do not build? I don't know what to do against the undefined reference to _start The git repository is too new for checking when/whether _start disappeared from the other prefix files...
