"modification time in the future" make(1) warnings are often seen when source code has been modified from different machines where clocks are not sychronized. When I work on code over NFS and then run make on the NFS machine I sometimes see these errors. This is not fatal and it is a warning from make(1), not the compiler. If you would like to eliminate warnings like this in the future, you must ensure that the time/date is the same between your machines (e.g. by using NTP).
