Subject: Problem with dhcpd under linux and Windows 2008 /Seven iscsi direct
install
To: [email protected]

Hello,

Petit bonjour de France.

I try to do diskless windows with iscsi and etherboot. ( iscsi / dhcpd
/tftpd , all on debian )

Everything ok with Windows XP with your great manual and wiki.

Unfortunaly, for direct install into iscsi ( Windows seven and 2008 R2 ,
impossible with a linux dhcpd.

With this tutorial,

http://erwan.l.free.fr/iscsi/install.html

and the iptools dhcpd ( with the option : ->vendor option is
175.6.1.1.1.8.1.1 (etherboot length 6 code 1 length 1 value 1 code 8 length
1 value 1).
(more details here http://www.etherboot.org/wiki/dhcpd
)

all work like a charm.

But i don't know what option i have to active in dhcpd.conf on linux to
have the same configuration as the iptools under WIndows.

IF you have the solution.

Thanks

Alexandre.
