That is not the problem. The initrd contains the right network driver  
(e1000.ko) and after copying ifconfig (and some additional stuff) into  
the initrd it is possible to set up the network interface eth0 with  
"ifconfig eth0 192.9.200.155 netmask 255.255.255.192 up" but not with  
DHCP!!!. But after that mounting the rootfilesystem manually is still  
not possible. I get the following error message:
"mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on  
192.9.200.137:/svr1/rootfilesystem/pilas5
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail"
The module nfs.ko is also available inside initrd. So the filesystem  
shouldn't be a problem.
