ESX4i and gPXE boot

There were lots of email about booting ESX4i. Was there a definite way where
it can be made to work?

I am currently chaining mboot.c32 from pxelinux and loading all the tgz
modules. This seems to work in older  (a year old) gPXE code. The latest
gPXE code has the following behavior

1. gpxe.lkrn seems to work fine
2. When optionROM is burnt to a card, gPXE hangs when trying to load
image.tgz file (which is about 170MB). It consistently fails here and older
versions seemed to work fine. (COMBOOT and Multiboot is disabled in gPXE).
mbbot.c32 is the one shipped in ESX4i. I am wondering if gPXE memory is
getting overwritten by the image being downloaded causing this behavior.

I tried outputting debug data (PXE, UNDI etc), since the image is too big,
it just slows down the whole thing.

Any input is greatly appreciated
