Deactivate/Activate gPXE

Hi, I was asked to be able to activate/deactivate gPXE (deactivate - remove it permanently from list of boot devices). Assuming I can use non-volatile memory to keep the gPXE status. How can I deactivate gPXE and activate it back via CLI?
