Blocking icmp6 echo request and reply with capture filter

I have been trying to come up with a capture filter that will allow all
icmp6 traffic except echo reply and echo request messages through.  It
seems like the necessary commands are not supported to accomplish this.
Can this be done, and if so, does anyone have any ideas on how or where
to look for more information?
