Why would the depot build tethereal, but not ethereal?

Hi all.  We have a HPUX Itanium server that we want to install Ethereal
to.  They assigned me, the n00b, to do it.  I tried building ethereal
from scratch, but ran into trouble, so I hunted around and found the
Itanium depot build here:

http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Gtk/Applications/ethereal-0.10.14/

After I installed it, I only found the executable for tethereal (whereis
tethereal), but no ethereal executable.  Help?
