For some strange reason, my reply from yesterday probably got lost somewhere (I cannot see it in the archive...). In any case... It's definitely a WinPcap issue. Can you please report a bug as described here: http://www.winpcap.org/bugs.htm ? Please be sure to use WinPcap 4.0a1 for the bug report, as the log is much more detailed. Have a nice day GV ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gonze Didier" <[email protected]> To: "Ethereal user support" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, July 28, 2006 6:10 AM Subject: RE: [Ethereal-users] Problem: Can't get listofinterfaces: PacketGetAdapterNames: There are no more files. (18) Temporary my problem has been solved by going back to WinPcap 3.0 I think the problem is really located in WinPcap and not in Ethereal as I've the same problem when running WinPCap tools standalone. Still I will try with Wireshark 0.99.2 Regards, > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:ethereal-users- > [email protected]] On Behalf Of Ulf Lamping > Sent: vrijdag 28 juli 2006 2:32 > To: Ethereal user support > Subject: Re: [Ethereal-users] Problem: Can't get list ofinterfaces: > PacketGetAdapterNames: There are no more files.
