I am capturing info from a switch, I did a vacl capturing multiple vlans with the interface. switchport switchport capture switchport capture allowed vlan 184-191 I will try what was suggested and add the vlan rpm to my box to see if that helps. Which OS are you using? -->Windows XP, the issue is that I have not notice this problem with my Desktop but with my laptop both runnig XP. It seems it is an issue in the network card What are you using to sniff the traffic between the two machines? Hub/switch? -->It is a HUB, I captured ok while sniffing with my Desktop. It should be capturing both directions with the line I have in, but I only see one-way traffic. If anyone has something for us to try that would be great, Javier ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Pablo Gil Sent: Friday, July 21, 2006 4:40 AM To: Ethereal user support Subject: RE: [Ethereal-users] Gigabit card and captures HI, While capturing messages from two devices working at 10Mbps, the internal Gigabit card of my laptop only captures messages in one direction. If I change the card properties to 10Mbps I do not receive any messages at all. Moreover If I make the capture with my desktop PC the frames are captured in both directions. Any suggestion?
