It has been proposed that we migrate some relatively common code from the core and gui's into a seaparate library, where it can be used by everybody. The obvious first candidate, which I have implemented partially before, but never finalized, is the gui comms code, seeing as there are about 5 copies of it that do essentially the same thing already. Does anybody have ideas on other code that should go there? I think we have some simple utility code that might work, such as EList. Anything like that seems appropriate... Of course, GUI's written in non-C based languages will not be able to use it, or will at least have to jump through hoops to use it, but it would definitely make the C based ones easier... -- Craig West Ph: (416) 666-1645 | It's not a bug, [email protected] | It's a feature...
