Done. This also involved fixing ebqt to work with the new-style 
yesno_dialogs. Oh, yes, and lots of autoconf. All to find out that the 
code worked first time. Big argh, huh?

Don't worry about privacy - as I say, this is entirely optional. All 
that happens is that, the first time you start EB after an install / 
upgrade, you get a dialog asking whether you want to let us know about 
your upgrade, and explaining that no information, apart from the 
version and (if applicable) the version you upgraded from, will be 
transmitted. If you choose Yes, it goes, if you choose No, it doesn't. 
Either way, it doesn't bother you again until you next upgrade, or 
start using it as another user (with an empty config file). I've run 
this past a few people, and nobody's yet objected.

And now, I just need to write the PHP script on the other end...
