Debugging on win98

Well, I decided to see where I could get with EB on win98 this morning. I
got as far as getting cygwin and the debugger installed, and then trying to
debug EB. I am new to using gdb, but the error I got on crash was this:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0xbff7b992 in _size_of_stack_reserve__ ()

This was when running the latest package from the website (0.4.3-18). I
was going to try compiling from cvs but my cygwin cvs client hangs every
time in the everybuddy/src directory. I am new to cygwin and figuring out
problems in that environment, so I did not get far with that. Perhaps if I
have some time later I will attempt getting the source using winCVS and see
how that goes. If there is more information that I could gather using
different commands in gdb I would be glad to do so, but I will need some
guidance.
