Windows MSN messenger spam, affects Everybuddy also?

I haven't been able to get everybuddy to work, but on my windows desktop machine I've recently been spammed with thousands and thousands of new contacts being added to my contact list without my permission. Each pops up a window with options to block the request, add user to my contact list, etc. and hangs my computer. It will have over 1000 windows open with requests for MSN messenger confirmation! According to the msn messenger newsgroup, this has happened to several people immediately after making at post to that newsgroup, which is exactly what happened in my case. Please take precautions when posting any information to that particular newsgroup. Brian K -- IMPORTANT: "[email protected]" will cease to exist shortly.
