Yes, thanks to a new volunteer developer. A big friendly hello to Shuying Wang, our new Jabber developer! What's more, the new services architecture allows Jabber transports to be used as backups to the ordinary service plugins. Cool, no? > 3) will there ever be an inclusion for Odigo? (www.odigo.com) Ooh, never heard of it. I'll take a look. Do you have any more details on how it works? I'm also interested in anyone who knows anything about how VCM (Virtual Corporate Messenger, I think - it's a LAN-based IM thing) works. > 4) will there be more advanced support for, for instance, the advanced > features of ICQ, like SMS-ing and stuff Not with the current module, which uses TOC. However, we could be moving at some point to an ICQ/OSCAR library such as libicq2000, which does support such things. > 5) are there more gui's being developed now, except the QT one? There are noises being made. Rob's doing a curses one at some point (ie when he has the time), and Edward and others have discussed adapting the current (GTK) one. However, Qt is the only one under active development. I would like this to change - if anyone feels up to doing a user interface, please give me a yell!
