I'm using Windows98 Hi, Okay, so you're using Everybuddy on Windows 98. What version of Everybuddy did you download? Some of the earlier versions were perticularly buggy. So you're saying it crashes when you press OK? Odd, Try completely uninstalling the version you're using, and re-installing it. If it's not the latest version (0.4.3-18 at present - is there any plans for a CVS version guys?) you can download that here: http://www.everybuddy.com/files/everybuddy-0.4.3-18_win.exe Does your system crash with other programs too? Or just Everybuddy, this isn't a normal bug, and a bug this severe ought to have been fixed by the time this program got released. My guess is there is something funny going with your machine, and I'd at least check that everything is okay. As a test, try downloading the latest Windows version of X-Chat, and see if that produces the same results, if it does, then there is a problem with the interface that both programs use (GTK), if it runs fine, then there is a problem with Everybuddy itself. Hopefully, someone more familiar with EB under Win32 can back me up here - I only use it under Linux ;-) Under Windows I use Trillian. Everybuddy insists on installing to C: on my machine, and since that drive hasn't got sufficient room, installation fails.
