Win32 bug in Windows XP (ñ bug or ny)

Hello, I'm currently using the win32 implementation of everybuddy, I've found a bug wich is reproduced when receiving a message which contains the letter ñ (I don't if you get this letter but is like an "n" but with a curve line above it) or the accent character above any letter for ex: "á". The problem is that when someone sends me a phrase which contains this letter which is very common in spanish (I live in spain) I get nothing, just the name of the sender and the time stamp...so I lose all the phrase... did you know about this bug?
