everybuddy won't support it because we've ceased development of 
everybuddy.  ayttm supports it (http://www.nongnu.org/ayttm/) and 
eb-lite will support it too.

Err, it does too.  Click on the Offline Message button (or Ctrl+O) to
enable it.
