EB-lite is not Jabber. Turning it into Jabber is a pointless exercise which 
duplicates other people's work anyway.

If you want to make EB-lite serve multiple users, then launch multiple cores. 
With the --pipes and --config-dir options, this could be done by, say, a 
distributer daemon which listened on a TCP port, checked a username and 
password, and launched the core with the appropriate config file for the user 
concernerd.

Yes yes YES! I'm sorry, but I'm not up to doing this as well as the
