I'm also thinking of doing an FLTK gui, which should work in Windows with
very little effort. The socket code might need a bit of work, although I do
have my own portable Socket class for Windows, Solaris, AIX and Linux

QT also has a Mac version

I'm working on a Java gui. The first version is swing-based, so probably not
too mobile-friendly, though.

You already know I want this one :-) It sounds like it needs some design work,

I've had a couple of other Yahoo crashes, but nothing repeatable. At least one
of them is a double-delete. I may throw some reference-counting code in to
manage some of the objects, if I can't track down the guilty party. I suspect
that it is possible for a contact to get onto two lists simultaneously. I'm
going to hunt through the yahoo code to see if I can find the problem through
good old-fashioned code-review. You never know, I could get lucky. It is
certainly stable enough to use, now, anyways.
