Hi It's been quit a while since my last post, in the mean time I've switched from Red Hat 7.3 to SuSE 8.1 Pro. I finally downloaded the source for EB-lite and compiled and installed both EB-lite and ebqt. Compiling and installing seems to have gone fine but after creating my accounts EB-lite segfaulted and now it won't start anymore. I started EB-lite from an xterm: m8ram@linux:/shared> eb-lite Could not load registry: No such file or directory Loading IRC module (such as it is...) Loading a service "IRC" MSN init Loading a service "MSN" Yahoo init Loading a service "Yahoo" Loading a service "AIM" Loading a service "ICQ" 81 50 46 26 55 81 195 133 Lost connection with a GUI mid-read: Operation now in progress Segmentation fault m8ram@linux:/shared> eb-lite Loading IRC module (such as it is...) Loading a service "IRC" MSN init Loading a service "MSN" Yahoo init Loading a service "Yahoo" Loading a service "AIM" Loading a service "ICQ" Could not bind a GUI socket: Address already in use I also started ebqt from a (different) terminal, this seems fine except for the following message which appears every couple of lines: QGList::locate: Index 0 out of range EB-lite segfaulted after I tried to 'activate' (set status to online) the accounts. I've also started at my first job since my last post so I don't have that much time anymore but if someone would give me some pointers I'd like to test (and provide debugging info) on this system since SuSE doesn't seem to be among the 'tested' platforms.
