I'm not sure if qt or window managers support the option, but having new 
conversation windows open on the same virtual desktop as the main window 
would be very helpful. I segregate work by desktop and having them pop up 
over what I'm doing can be really annoying at times. (Even an "open 
minimised" option would help).
