Win32 UI progress?

OK, here I am, sitting on this crappy little win98 machine, realising
exactly how much this OS *sucks*. And thinking that it would suck
considerably less if I could just download an EB-lite UI to this sorry
box, and talk to the world!
So - from a purely selfish point of view:
How's the native win32 port going (the VB one)? Is it still cooking, and
if so, what's progress like? And as for porting existing software - does
that look feasible, Edward? And will it be restricted to WinNT machines if
it is?
