ok, after taking some time away from eb-lite, i thought it was time to
try again since I saw alpha 9 was released with this ABS to make things
easier. I ran ./configure in alpah-9abs/core/ with only one error:

configure:
*******************************************************************************
  can't build shared plugins without libltdl plugins will be linked
statically
  to eb-lite. If you want dynamic plugins, you should install libltdl -
which
  comes with the libtool-libs package.
******************************************************************************

The only other line that seems relevent given the error from 'make all'
is this:
checking whether the C++ compiler works... yes

Here is the tail of 'make all':

cc -g -Wall -I../../src -DUSE_DLOPEN -DSTATIC_msn -DSTATIC_irc
-DSTATIC_toc -DSTATIC_yahoo -DSTATIC_misc -DSTATIC_PLUGINS -c util.c
c++ accounts.o actions.o contactlist.o debug.o elist.o groupchat.o
gui_comms.o html.o main.o md5.c message_parse.o misc_cb.o plugin.o
plugin_api.o prefs.o proxy.o registry.o staticmods.o stream.o util.o
../plugins/static/*.o -o eb-lite
/bin/sh: line 1: c++: command not found
make[1]: *** [eb-lite] Error 127
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/info/gzip/eb-lite-alpha-9/core/src'
make: *** [all] Error 2

I checked that c++ is indeed an invalid command, but g++ and gcc both
work. Is c++ something I need installed separately?

Thanks,
g
