This probably ought to have been on-list... Well, I have basic messaging coming off now. If there's demand, I'll start making pre-alpha builds available on the Everybuddy website. If not, I'm anticipating an alpha (early alpha, not the core's so-stable-my-version's- been-running-for-weeks-straight flavour of alpha :^) ). No, it doesn't need X11, it's a native Cocoa application - the entire thing will run on Joe Random's uncustomised Mac. If you *are* up to doing X11, fink, etc, you might want to try ebqt under that - Nick has it working on the iBook we're doing ChocoBuddy on... And thanks for the support - it's always nice to see!
